Inspired by a brother and sister holding hands
By David Smith May 11, 2009
A little boy and a little girl clutching hands at an orphanage you know.
Fear of separation kept them close
The love within the passion the most.
Rejected by their parents and left on a street to die;
Police took them to the orphanage close by.
An angel broke the ice to get the big brother to talk.
Was really traumatized on that nightly walk.
He clung to his sister so needy and in pain.
Adopted as a pair to a loving family was their gain.
The angel felt hurt because she couldn’t do more
Years later she learned what her passion was for.
She broke the ice; to feel love for the pair
That made them accessible for greater love for to share.
Then to be adopted; to know you had a hand.
The love of God through hardship we understand.
We can all be angels and guided by God.
Yield to His way
What growth to applaud.
