Choose Your Words; Choose Your Colours

Choose Your WORDS:  Choose Your COLOUR

By David Smith June 30, 2009

Words in lists, in column and row;

Like colour, like paint, for stories to glow.

That is the joy, to choose the unique word.

For vivid imagery; pictures to be heard.

A painting’s worth a thousand words.

It’s not the vocabulary that is grand.

It’s how the words fit together;

To make an interesting stand.

The joy as words flow like a river;

With rapids and stillness,

And emotions that shiver.

Words in lists and column and row;

Choose your colour

Create stories that flow.
