Ice Coffee

Ice Coffee

By David Smith September 12, 2009

To make an Ice Coffee requires the skill;

As he takes stainless steel;

The coldness for the thrill.

Shakes the coffee that’s brewed in the pot;

And adds the cool; the ice a lot.

A cold chilling brew for the warmth of the day;

It’s conversation,

The agitating,

The shaking at play.

To make an ice coffee

It’s conversation that’s grand

The ice in the cup; enjoy while we can.

    This poem was inspired in the Hot Summer at Brighton Cafe at North Street and Main across from the Hospital.
    Doo shakes a good coffee.
