Inspired by the Niagara Falls Farmers Market
By David Smith September 19, 2009
The Market they call it; so cozy and alive
Busy and buzzing like a little beehive.
The sun beating down; vendors loosely packed;
Patrons come in for fresh fruit and snack;
The baker is present. His breads and his sweets;
The joy of the market; a Saturday treat.
Love the commotion; the atmosphere all around.
A symphony sound;
A dedicated few keep the Market alive;
At Sylvia Place;
A freshness to thrive.
“If you ate today, thank a farmer.”
See the hand written sign;
Be part of the community;
Be proud, to show and say. “It is mine!”
