After Seven at the Regal
By David Smith January 15, 2010
After Seven the Regal is alive;
The counter is full, like a feeding trough, they thrive;
In for their bacon and eggs so grand;
Customers line up; they sit and stand.
The joy, the warmth, of a hot breakfast to feed.
A cold January fulfills their precious need.
Down on Main tucked back of Ferry Street;
In from the cold as we turn up the heat.
