A Picture on the Wall

A Picture on the Wall

A Picture on the wall at Andy’s Delight

Inspired me to write this thought tonight

Like the schooner on the dime in Canada we can say

The fastest ship to go out and bring back the catch right away.

That is the joy the freshest and the best

To put on your plate the fish well dressed.

What’s in it for me? I ponder a lot

The fishermen to copy, the integrity they got.

They mend the nets and trim the sail

Afraid of the water and yet grab fear by the tail

They have the character so rugged and true

And speak with an accent and their love shines through

They have a purpose on the horizon they see

The sun rise and set and how their lives can be.

A picture on the wall at Andy’s Delight

Go on a journey, where imagination is right.
